Milk and Honey was arranged from the Tenney rag of the same name (one of the Three Rags for Pianoforte) in 1982 for the Berkeley Mandolin Ensemble, who premiered it sometime soon after. The manuscript was published in New Music for Plucked Strings, Frog Peak Music, 1986. This new edition was engraved by Bruno Ruviaro.
