Professional Experience:
  • Software Engineer - Healthy Boys, LLC 2007-2008
    Responsible for C/C++ software programming for the Realtime Music Solutions software products Sinfonia and Coach; specialized applications for real-time accompaniment for live performance. Programming tasks include Digital Signal Processing, MIDI and OSC messaging, interface design and general system functionality. The software is customized for specific clients, incorporating multiple Graphical User Interfaces, developed using the Tolltech Qt3 and Qt4 libraries.

    Music Software Consultant 2006-2007
    Created MIDI realizations and a final published score for the first movement of Larry Polanskys Three Pieces for Two Pianos (2007). The score was transcribed using JMSL (Java Musical Specification Language) and published using GNU LilyPond.

    Developed real-time spectral filtering and stereo delay abstractions in Max/MSP for Nathan Davis piece Diving Bell. The software contributes to realizing the piece in a live performance setting. The software was developed and modified according to the composers specific musical needs and performance requirements.

    Sound Recording Engineer - Dartmouth College 2006-2007
    Responsible for recording music performances sponsored by Dartmouth College, both in the concert hall and on location, requiring detailed knowledge of technical sound recording equipment, microphone placement, mixing, and post-production.

    Software Engineer, Delaware Community Investment Corp.2004-2007
    Developed, integrated, and maintained a Microsoft Access participatory loan servicing system with 3rd party proprietary software for a non-profit, low-income housing and urban renewal organization. The system functions as both a comprehensive loan processing application and as a user interface for accessing all pertinent loan information, including trial balances, investor participation summaries, delinquency reports, etc. Also, developed a networked contact management system for simultaneous employee access using FileMaker Pro Developer software.
