Mayday has recently been accepted to the International Computer Music Convention, which will be held this August 24-29, 2008 at the Queen’s University in Belfast, Ireland. Mayday is a soundscape written for stereo tape, filled with allusions to marine life and the open sea. It is scheduled to be performed on August 27, at 1:45 pm.
