- "Spectral
Mutation In Soundhack" is an article by Tom Erbe
and I on spectral morphing as
implemented in the program Soundhack.There
is also an online
manual
for Soundhack.
- Cendroid is an
experimental program written by lp and douglas
repetto, for fooling around with the spectral centroid
of a sound file, with some unusual ideas. It uses
Soundhack and Soundhack's spectral assistant
tool. It was mainly for experimentation, and the code
is probably not useful (or runnable, old-style Mac
callback routines, etc.,) but there's a little manual
we wrote for it.
- Hierarchical
Temporal Gestalt Perception in Music Fortran Code
(printout), from unpublished (or privately published)
extended version of the article that appeared in Journal
of Music Theory, James Tenney with Larry
Polansky.
- Python
Notebook demonstrations of various ideas and
techniques: dissonant counterpoint algorithm,
interpolation functions, Gaussian approximation,
optimal well-temperament, and other things.
